The Kaye Nash Collection

Art and music were a part of my home growing up and as early as the age of three with colouring and craft books I realized the joy of creativity. As an adult I experienced many crafts, including card making, book binding, calligraphy & chigari-e (Japanese paper art).
When my children were grown I focused on painting and started with classes in oils and acrylics. Soon I discovered watercolours and immediately knew that I had found my passion. Since watercolours have entered my world I have enjoyed the companionship of other artists, their ideas and encouragement.
I mainly paint flowers and foliage from my own garden or tropicals from places I have vacationed. The beauty and brilliance of nature inspire me.
Each spring you will find my work for show & sale at the Ottewell Community Centre in Sherwood Park, along with other paintings by friends and colleagues. Some of my other ventures have included the Whyte Ave Art Walk, as well as showing in local venues.
